When it comes to email marketing strategies, there are a lot of good and bad email marketing tips out there that may be different depending on the email marketing strategy that you are using. One of the best email marketing tips would be to keep your messages as personal as possible.
Tip 1: Personalize your emails
Personalization is among the most important factors you should strive to ensure in every campaign. This is especially true when it comes to email marketing. However, a lot of people have mistakenly interpreted personalization to mean referring to an email recipient by name. While this is part of it, you are much more likely to get a more responsive email than simply calling someone by their first and last name.
Separate emails for your mailing list that is targeted for the particular niche of business that you are marketing. This is called segmentation. Segment your list by product that they bought, by location, by number of employees. Add data to your list, so you can send more targeted and personalized emails.
Personalization in emails helps to make people more interested in what you have to offer, it helps to give people a reason to take action by giving them something personal.
Personalization not only increases your chances of people staying on your website longer, but it also creates a better relationship with your audience. The main reason people visit your website is because they like the message that you are trying to get across. When you personalize your messages, this helps to create a more positive experience for your audience. Personalization can be done with a variety of different things. It could be through the subject line or content. Using certain words or phrases in the body of the message makes it seem more personal.
Tip 2: Call to action
Call to Action (CTA) – The three most critical words in Email marketing. Think of it as your irresistible headline, engaging copy, and the growing list of subscribers on your website. Without giving these people something to rave about, you have nothing to sell. In fact, it is quite easy to lose money by using these three key phrases that are related, yet often not actually useful to a potential buyer. For example, I have spent many weeks researching the best way to promote affiliate products.
To make money through affiliate marketing requires you to give people a reason to buy the affiliate product. In order to do this, you must give them a compelling offer or an incentive that will encourage them to take action. Once they take action, then the next step is to entice them to sign up with your email marketing list. As you build this list, you can use an autoresponder to capture their name and email address so that you can send them valuable information, including valuable information about the affiliate products you are promoting. Once your customers have signed up, you will want to make sure you keep in touch with them regularly. You can use an autoresponder software that integrates with your marketing software. Whatever you choose, it is imperative that you always have something on your mailing list to motivate them to take action in the future.
Tip 3: Don’t sell, bring value!
Be informative rather than sell something. If you provide helpful information in your email, then your reader is more likely to remember your email and possibly open it. If you are going to send out just promotional emails to your list, you will see your open rate drop and a lot of unsubscribers. But also, it’s not just enough to bring value… you also have to know who you are writing to: like who signed up to your list, what are they interested in? Bring valuable information in what they are interested in!

Last thing, I created this free 3 day email marketing course.
Email marketing is definitely still one of the underrated marketing methods. On it’s own it will not be worth a lot… but it has to blend into your general marketing strategy, then it can be very valuable. Like the emails you get from e-commerce stores. Sometimes annoying but it works 😀
Thanks for the comment Ludwig and sorry for the late reply. I manage the campaigns of a few customers now, and email marketing is very powerful for an inbound marketing strategy. One of my customers makes at least 1 sale every time we send out an email to his existing email list.
